Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
Chimney Cleaning Before & After in Las Vegas, NV
Most homeowners never see the inside of their own chimney. That’s fine. But when we show them the before and after photos from a job, the reaction is almost always the same: “That was inside my house?” Seeing the actual creosote we removed, the liner condition, the difference a proper sweep makes, tells you more about our work than any paragraph of promises. Here’s what real chimney cleaning in Las Vegas looks like.

Creosote Removal in Summerlin
Before
AfterThis homeowner hadn’t swept the chimney in over four years. Las Vegas winters are short, but those fires still leave a glaze, and that glaze had hardened into exactly what you don’t want: creosote, the tar-like buildup that causes chimney fires. We removed 14 pounds of it. The after photo shows clean firebrick and a flue we could actually see through. The homeowner told us they didn’t realize how closed-off the draft had become.
Gas Fireplace Deep Clean in Henderson
Before
AfterGas fireplaces get a white film on the glass and soot buildup on the logs that most people just live with. This one had a burner that was sputtering unevenly, which meant incomplete combustion and a faint smell the homeowner noticed every time they turned it on. We pulled the logs, cleaned the burner ports, washed the glass with a non-abrasive cleaner, and checked the gas pressure. The flame came back blue, even, and quiet. Smell gone.
Firebox Restoration in North Las Vegas
Before
AfterIn North Las Vegas, we see firebox mortar joints crack from heat cycling, especially in older homes. This firebox had gaps wide enough to let heat reach the framing behind the brick, which is exactly how house fires happen. We cleaned out the loose mortar and resurfaced the firebox with HeatShield, a professional ceramic material rated for direct fire exposure. The after photo shows a smooth, continuous surface with no visible gaps. This one surprised even me: the original firebox turned out to be cracked behind the brick face too.
Smoky Fireplace Solution in Spring Valley

The complaint was smoke backing into the living room every time they lit a fire. We found two problems: a cracked chimney crown letting water in, and no cap at all, so debris had piled up about three feet down the flue. We swept the debris, rebuilt the crown, and installed a proper cap. The after photo shows exactly what should be on top of a Las Vegas chimney: a sealed crown and a cap that keeps embers in and monsoon rain out.
Chimney Liner Replacement in Paradise

During a routine inspection, our camera showed a clay liner with flaking chunks missing and a horizontal crack running about six feet up. This is the point where a homeowner has to decide, and we try to make that decision straightforward: here’s the camera footage, here’s the damage, and here’s the risk if it’s ignored. They approved the work. We pulled the old liner sections and installed a DuraFlex stainless steel liner sized specifically for this flue. The after photo is what a properly protected chimney looks like.
Chase Cover and Flashing Repair Near the Strip

Water stains on the ceiling near a fireplace almost always trace back to the top of the chase. This one near the Strip had a rusted-through chase cover and flashing that had pulled away from the roof line. Water was getting in during the summer storms and running straight down into the firebox. We fabricated a new chase cover, resealed the flashing, and repaired the water damage inside the firebox. No more stains, no more rust streaks down the siding.
